Trans Refuge Act: Minnesota law removes children from parents opposed to LGBT agenda

A few days ago, the Minnesota State Senate passed, and Gov. Tim Walz signed into law, the Trans Refuge Act, a piece of legislation that allows the state to remove children from parents opposed to the LGBT agenda — specifically the sexual mutilation, exploitation, and abuse of children under the banner of “gender-affirming” care.

The bill offers a haven to individuals fleeing states where minors cannot receive so-called gender-affirming care via puberty blockers and permanent genital mutilation (via WNG.org):

Just days ago, the Minnesota Senate passed the controversial Trans Refuge Act. The bill offers a haven to individuals fleeing states where minors cannot receive what the state defines as “gender-affirming care.” Such “care” now includes controversial puberty blockers and permanent genital mutilation. Now, Gov. Tim Walz has signed the bill into law, in opposition to what he called the forces of “hatred and bigotry” that oppose such “care” for children. According to Minnesota’s governor, affirming someone’s God-given biology amounts to a form of bigotry the state must use its coercive power to oppose.

The bill, HF 146, creates a new category by which Minnesota courts can seize emergency jurisdiction over minors. Before this bill was passed, the law recognized only abandonment and abuse as grounds for a court taking custody of a child. This bill adds a third category, “The child has been unable to obtain gender-affirming health” (Section 3.3). If a child is prevented from receiving “gender-affirming care,” then the state has a right to take emergency custody. This is a draconian measure that undermines parental authority.

In Minnesota, refusing to provide puberty blockers and genital mutilation is now the legal equivalent of physically abusing a child. It is now grounds for the state to take emergency custody of children. (Emphasis mine)

The pro-LGBT terrorists in Minnesota government believe the state has the fundamental right over how parents raise their children, and if you oppose their radical transgender agenda, your children will be seized by the government where they will be sexually mutilated and abused.

Clearly, this bill and the rhetoric from Gov. Tim Walz’s office puts parents in Minnesota on notice: Opposition to the LGBT agenda will not be tolerated.

Minnesota’s Trans Refuge Act is simply the latest example of how far the pro-LGBT terrorists are willing to go to sexually abuse, mutilate, and indoctrinate our children; they’ve already been at work in our public schools (via City Journal):

In the wake of the controversy surrounding Florida’s Parental Rights in Education legislation, which prohibits public schools from teaching gender identity and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade, the national media has sought to paint conservative opposition as hysterical, anti-LGBTQ, and conspiracy-minded. The New York Times, for example, accused conservatives of having a “freakout” about imaginary “grooming” in public schools, and the Washington Post dismissed concerns about sexual abuse by teachers as a “QAnon conspiracy.”

But whatever the editorialists at the Times and the Post might say, the facts reveal that too many American public schools have been hunting grounds for sexual predators. Parents fearful about abuse in schools are not falling victim to a “moral panic” or “QAnon messaging”; they are using their intuition to assess a real danger to their children. The most comprehensive report about sexual abuse in public schools, published by the Department of Education in 2004, estimates—on the basis of a 2000 survey, conducted by the American Association of University Women, of 2,065 students in grades eight through 11—that nearly 10 percent of K-12 students have been victims of sexual misconduct by a public school employee. (Emphasis mine)

Like Obama before him, Joe Biden is a proponent of the radical LGBT agenda and has worked to advance it.

In May 2016, after determining that “discrimination” against transgender students could be fought as a civil rights issue, Obama’s Department of Education (DOE) held a meeting with a group called Equality Michigan where the DOE committed itself to stay “aggressively engaged” in the fight to allow children to use whichever bathroom they choose promoting the sexual abuse of children.

In an early example of how this aggressive engagement would shape the LGBT narrative, Equality Michigan was granted a meeting with the Michigan State Board of Education to help educators draft a transgender guidance document designed to pressure Michigan schools into allowing children — without parental or doctoral input — to choose their gender, name, pronouns, bathrooms, and locker rooms:

“The responsibility for determining a student’s gender identity rests with the student. Outside confirmation from medical or mental health professionals or documentation of legal changes, is not needed.” (Emphasis mine)

Fast forward to May 2021. Joe Biden ordered the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Department of Education to expand the definition of Title IX to include gender identity, thus forcing public and private schools to comply with the LGBT agenda. States that failed to do as he wishes were to be taken to court.

“Today, the Department makes clear that all students — including LGBTQ+ students — deserve the opportunity to learn and thrive in schools that are free from discrimination,” Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said in a statement at the time.

Biden put some muscle behind his plan to sexually mutilate, exploit, and abuse children via the Department of Education in October 2021 with the appointment of Catherine Lhamon — another Obama connection — as assistant secretary for civil rights at the U.S. Department of Education.

Lhamon served as assistant secretary for civil rights during the Obama administration before being promoted to chair of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. During her tenure under Obama, she warned public schools that they were in violation of federal law if they prohibited students from using the restroom or locker room that matched their gender identity.

In April 2022, Biden’s Department of Justice sent a letter to all 50 state attorneys general threatening them with legal action if they did anything to prevent minors from receiving so-called gender-affirming care.

Biden is also using the “reform Title IX” approach to advance the LGBT agenda through the indoctrination and sexual abuse of children, and he stands a good chance of success thanks to Donald Trump’s “conservative” Supreme Court and the 6-3 ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County that created an inalienable right to transgenderism that never existed before.

The majority opinion in that case was written by none other than Trump appointee Neil Gorsuch.

Parents should be very concerned about public schools “grooming” their children for sexual abuse. In 2014, the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office published a lengthy report warning that public school employees were “grooming” students “with the intent to perpetrate future sexual abuse or misconduct” — usually without the parent’s knowledge because parents are “not entitled to know” such things about their children.

On the national level, pro-LGBT terrorists Joe Biden, Catherine Lhamon, the DOJ, and the Department of Education — along with Donald Trump and a few so-called conservatives — are targeting children for sexual mutilation, exploitation, and abuse under the banner of gender-affirming care.

And on the state level, Minnesota joins state legislatures from California to Virginia to target our children for indoctrination into a lifetime of this LGBT lie.
