Conservative Comedy 2/14/14

Allahu Akbar It's Friday

It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.

Barack Obama recently boasted that he’d be unilaterally (and, oh yeah, illegally) changing our nation’s laws using nothing but his pen and his phone. And for once he was actually telling the truth. The president just issued yet another change to Obamacare, this time delaying the law’s employer mandate until 2016 for companies with between 50 and 99 employees. This means that those companies can now refuse to give their employees health insurance with no penalties whatsoever.

As the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change shows us, this boon to business came with a hidden cost which was also scrawled by the president’s pen. In order to qualify for this exemption, employers cannot fire or lay off any employees. Moreover, if any employer is forced by economic need to still lay off employees, they will be required by Obama’s new imaginary law to make an official declaration to the IRS that Obamacare was not a consideration in the downsizing, or face penalties. Of course, this declaration doesn’t have to be true – it’s only actual purpose is to give this administration documentation proving that Obamacare isn’t a job-killer.

We have two reports from Jodi Miller at Newsbusted. In this week’s episodes, Jodi reports on the Olympics and the real reason Barack Obama refuses to attend the games, Rosie O’Donnell’s son joining the military, and Chris Matthews’ quandary regarding what to give Obama for Valentine’s Day. Some of the other highlights include: Colin Powell’s plans for the Republican party, Obamacare and “job lock,” New York Mayor DeBlasio’s security plans, and how Governor  Jerry Brown  plans to hire Al Gore as a means to end the drought in California, and several other stories.

February is Black History Month. AlfonZo Rachel takes a look at what Carter G.Woodson was celebrating when he pioneered “Negro History Week” (the precursor to Black History Month). Unfortunately, today’s black community has failed to become what Carter envisioned as a cause for celebration. Hear more in this ZoNation.
