Digital currency, vaccine passports, microchips, and a social credit system

Digital currency, vaccine passports, microchips, and a social credit system

I’m often accused of being a conspiracy theorist, an anti-vaxxer, and an all around nut-job for believing that COVID hysteria is a government-manufactured “crisis” used to advance their desire to control our lives in ways once thought impossible, but a recent news story about our socialist-loving neighbors to the north tying the relationship between vaccine passports, digital currency, microchips, and a social credit system (ala Communist China) together appears to back me up.

After nearly two years of “two weeks to flatten the curve,” America finds herself in the midst of an economic, political, and societal shift like no other; a shift ushered in solely through the spreading of fear and lies about COVID. And if you’re wondering what this shift will look like when everything is said and done, perhaps recent developments in Canada provides the answer.

For instance, one of the shifts on the horizon deals with how government wants to handle our ability to buy and sell by eliminating the use of cash and replacing it with a digital currency in order to create a fully cashless society. As my Canadian friend WhatsHerFace shows us in in her recent YouTube video, that’s exactly what’s happening in the Great White North.

The Bank of Canada is currently accepting job applications for a “Product Architect” to develop a digital currency as part of its plan to “[reinvent] central banking”:

The Project

The Bank of Canada is embarking on a program of major social significance to design a contingent system for a central bank digital currency (CBDC), which can be thought of as a banknote, but in digital form. This project will require us to break new ground. It will take into consideration a wide variety of factors, including policy considerations, diverse stakeholder needs, difficult technical challenges and ensuring the development of a world-class user, inclusive, experience. (emphasis mine)

Sounds grand and noble, doesn’t it? Well, in the words of the late night informercials . . . “Wait! There’s more!” Check out one of the “challenges” of creating this new digital currency:

The Challenges

We aim to design a CBDC with cash-like properties in digital form:

Universally accessible: Regardless of their circumstances, CBDC should be usable by all Canadians, even by those without a bank account or access to a cellular phone, in remote communities not well served by cellular networks, and/or those with sensory, motor and cognitive impairments. (emphasis mine)

How will someone without a bank account or smart phone access digital currency? I’m glad you asked.

To begin with, Big Brother will need to merge digital currency with other government-controlled services, say . . . vaccine passports and digital IDs. By combining these and other services, government is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from a social credit system like the one already in use in Communist China.

With the merger of these services in place, people without a bank account or smart phone will be able to enjoy the new digital currency by simply getting a microchip implant.

For the ignorant and/or indifferent population submitting to COVID tyranny and trying to guilt others into doing the same — I’m looking at you, coronavirus Christians — such a scenario may seem far-fetched, but microchipping people so they can buy and sell is already being used in Sweden so that citizens don’t need to carry a wallet, keys, or identification because it’s all contained in a microchip implanted beneath their skin (via NBC News):

When you add COVID tyranny and fake passports to the mix, this kind of microchipping makes what once sounded like a conspiracy theory or something out of a science fiction novel much closer to becoming a reality.

Health and technology companies have been developing digital COVID vaccine passports under the belief that governments and businesses would require proof of being vaccinated before allowing things to return to “normal,” and they have been promoted by the World Economic Forum as part of their plan to use COVID to begin creating a the New World Order to address the so-called pandemic, using a plan they call The Great Reset.

Meanwhile, businesses in the Age of COVID have already pushed for a cashless economy, requiring customers to use payment systems like debit cards, credit cards, and smartphone app payment systems.

How will this lead to the development of a Communist China-styled social credit system; and just what is that anyway?

Back in June, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and other Democrats held hearings to discuss ways of dramatically overhauling the credit reporting system within the United States because, just like criminal background checks, credit reports are “racist.”

“Good credit is a gateway to wealth. Yet, for far too long, our credit reporting system has kept people of color and low-income persons from access to capital to start a small business; access to mortgage loans to become homeowners; and access to credit to meet financial emergencies.” (emphasis mine)

If her legislation — the Comprehensive CREDIT Act and the Protecting Your Credit Score Act of 2021 — becomes law, credit score reporting will be taken over and run by the federal government in order to make credit reporting “less racist.”

Since credit reports are used for purposes other than borrowing money (renting a home, applying for a job, etc.), a social credit system where financial information isn’t the only consideration just might be a better option, which is where we make the digital currency, vaccine passport, microchip, and social credit system connection.

Experts in the tech industry tell us that the digital platform used to create vaccine passports is the same platform used in China’s “social credit system.“ Some of the areas tracked in real time by China’s “social credit system” are (via New Horizons):

  • Medical history
  • Social media posts and internet search history
  • Bank accounts and credit cards
  • Residence, employment, and criminal history
  • Relationships and religious activities
  • Political activity

This information is fed to a central database to create a “social credit score” to be used to reward or punish citizens. Those with a high score are able to participate freely in society while those with a low score are prohibited from traveling, borrowing money, keeping a job, or even getting their children into school.

With such a system, government can not only track your medical history and spending habits; they can control them. Fail to get vaccinated and Big Brother could simply turn off the tap.

For that matter, fail to comply with ANY government directive and they could do much more. For example, government could:

  • Automatically withdraw taxes from your account (Remember Biden’s plan to give the IRS spying power?)
  • Dispense funds based on political ideology (Want to buy a gun? Look out)
  • Dispense funds based on health records (Diabetic? No sugar for you!)
  • Withhold funds if the nanny state doesn’t approve of your spending habits

Government tyrants may want you to believe that vaccine passports will only be used to track COVID compliance, but digital currency and a social credit system could easily be added to the mix since they will be using the same platform.

The government/technocrat partnership creating digital currency and COVID vaccine passports claims that our privacy will be completely protected, but I’m thinking that protecting privacy and fairness will be sacrificed if will facilitate the creation of the totalitarian police state they seek.

The technology behind digital currency, vaccine passports, and the social credit system have been in the works for years, and thanks to COVID, the far-left’s dream of a totalitarian police state may finally be realized.
