Biden’s far-left Department of Justice suing Georgia over voting laws

Kristen Clarke Georgia voting laws

In a move sure to bolster his far-left agenda on matters of race, Biden’s Department of Justice announced last week that it is suing the State of Georgia for passing a new set of voting laws that critics claim discriminate against minority voters.

Shortly after Gov. Brian Kemp signed new legislation back in March to overhaul election protocols in Georgia, place new restrictions on voting by mail, require voter ID, and increase legislative control over the voting process, Joe Biden played the race card and immediately called the law “Jim Crow on steroids.”

Uncle Joe was subsequently awarded  “Four Pinocchios” for spreading his far-left rhetoric about the law’s impact on voting by none other than the Washington Post — the publication that supported Biden for president and editorialized against the Georgia legislation.

Derrick Wilburn —  a Strident Conservative contributor and the Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives — shared at the time in his email newsletter that Jim Crow laws passed in states throughout the American south existed from 1876 until 1965, at which point they were overturned by the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Wilburn also pointed out how Jim Crow laws allegedly established “separate but equal” rights and facilities for Whites and Blacks, but were actually segregationist, immoral, and anything but “equal.” These laws were the inspiration behind domestic terror against people of color who, under their provisions, had to live as 3rd class citizens for nearly a hundred years.

Unfortunately, ignorance and/or indifference about American history and the Constitution causes most people to simply line up behind the party or personality they agree with — truth and facts be damned. We see evidence of this fact when the Biden/Democrat camp calls Georgia voting laws “Jim Crow in the 21st Century” while so-called conservatives in the nationalist/Republican camp call for boycotts against companies exercising their constitutional rights.

To see Biden’s Department of Justice suing Georgia over their new voting laws should come as no surprise. In fact, Biden set things up within his administration to make it easier for him to advance the far-left’s war on “systemic racism” and other imaginary causes.

Specifically, Biden appointed Kristen Clarke to head up the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division (via National Review):

At the all-important Civil Rights Division, Biden has appointed Kristen Clarke, a radical with a history of racist and anti-Semitic commentary. At Harvard, where she led the Black Students Association as an undergrad, Clarke publicly contended that blacks were superior to whites physically and mentally because their brains contain higher amounts of neuro-melanin. Blacks are also spiritually superior, she said, though she elaborated that this is not an attribute that can be “measured based on Eurocentric standards.”

Though she does not exactly come off like a career in stand-up was an option, Clarke would like us to believe that she was just joking — resorting to parody in her umbrage over the publication of Charles Murray and Richard Herrnstein’s The Bell Curve. People seemed to think she was pretty serious at the time, as she took pains to cite Richard King, a psychiatrist and melanin/pineal-gland scholar, as authority for the proposition that melanin is “the chemical basis for the cultural differences between blacks and whites,” and the reason why “Black infants sit, crawl and walk sooner than whites.” (C’mon, you know you were wondering!) On a related subject, Clarke certainly seemed serious when she invited a notoriously anti-Semitic Trinidadian academic, Tony Martin, to expound on his theories about the racism of the Torah and the “Jewish monopoly over Blacks” — and when she later asserted, in his defense, “Professor Martin is an intelligent, well-versed Black intellectual who bases his information on indisputable fact.”

Clarke is dedicated to the proposition that identity — racial, ethnic, sex (including, of course, sexual identification), sexual preference, etc. — trumps merit. (emphasis mine)

In years past, a person with Clarke’s record would never have been nominated because the risks of being associated with such a radical would be too great, or there wouldn’t have been enough votes to get someone like her confirmed in the Senate.

However, in today’s America, where Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee openly promotes reparations as a way for the U.S. to formally apologize for slavery and the “systemic racism” created by “white privilege,” and where Joe Biden — who supports the reparations agenda — is making plans to indoctrinate children into anti-white racism using the 1619 Project in public schools, nominating someone like Clarke is more the rule than the exception.

Biden’s indoctrination of children plan also includes the radical teachings of critical race Theorist Ibram X. Kendi. Kendi is a man who believes in the practice of anti-white racism because: “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”

By the way, Clarke was confirmed by a vote of 51-48 thanks to Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), the only “yea” coming from the GOP.

In the 50+ years since Jim Crow ended, Black people in Georgia and elsewhere across the South are anything but shut out of the political system. “Georgia’s congressional delegation has five Black representatives and one Black senator,” writes Jonah Goldberg . “Its state legislature is 27 percent Black. The mayor of Atlanta is a Black woman. Georgia has a large and politically powerful Black middle class, not to mention plenty of Black celebrities and 1-percenters.

Are we to believe that Georgia’s new voting laws brings Blacks in the state closer to the return of legal lynchings and separate water fountains?

To put it bluntly, Biden is peddling the Marxist agenda of Black Lives Matter and critical race theory, which served as the inspiration behind the death and destruction we witnessed during last summer’s riots. It’s also the motivation behind the government-sanctioned, taxpayer-financed, anti-white racism reparations movement picking up steam at the hands of anti-white racists like Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee, Black Lives Matter, and Biden’s UN Ambassador, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

And now, it’s the driving force behind the decision by Biden’s Department of Justice to sue Georgia over their voting laws.

George Orwell once said, “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

Unfortunately, with political correctness and “wokeness” serving as the official agenda of Biden and the Far-Left, and with feckless, politically motivated Republicans as the only opposition, calling Georgia voting laws “Jim Crow” and using the Department of Justice to sue the state, brings America one step closer to her destruction.
