Another appeal for financial support to avoid being forced to shut down

When I posted my request for financial support six months ago, I received several contributions from readers for which I am very grateful. However, the response wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for and that means I’m still in need of your assistance.

I picked up a couple of new monthly supporters, but as I mention below, I need hundreds. And while I did receive a handful of larger one-time donations (you know who you are, and I thank you), I’m still short of the funds I need to keep going.

So, as the year winds down, I’m re-sending my original appeal in the hope that there are many more of you out there who believe in what I’m doing and want to help me make a difference while there’s still time. Without your help, it will be very difficult for me to continue in 2026 as the midterms approach.

In the spirit of Christmas, would you please consider giving your financial support to The Strident Conservative?

I’ve been putting this off for quite a while now, but desperate times call for desperate measures, so I’m sending out this personal appeal for immediate financial support — support that I need to avoid being forced to shut down for good.

One reason I’ve been reluctant to post this appeal is because I was concerned that you’d see me as no different than the prosperity-gospel-charlatans you see on TV asking for donations to buy the mansion or private jet plane God “told them to buy.” Or worse, that you’d put me in the same mold as the Republican politician who says he needs money to defeat the evil Democrats and their agenda, even though both parties share the same agenda.

Still, with things being what they are, I’m not going to make it without your immediate help.

When I recently wrote an article about how the lonely road of conservatism is still getting lonelier, I shared how taking a stand for Christian constitutional conservative values has brought overwhelming opposition from not only the far left but also from Republicans and so-called conservatives.

Needless to say, being a conservative in the Age of Trump often leaves me feeling alone in the fight for our values, and the tyranny we’ve experienced under his leadership often leaves me feeling that we could be witnessing the last days of liberty and freedom. It’s also left me in a dire position financially — both personally and professionally.

In years past, when my business faced such financial pressure, I was able to float some money on my personal credit card or take the money I needed out of my personal finances.

However, the ability to do that changed for me earlier this year when a “trusted” friend — the same people who have been defaming me personally on social media — absconded with over $10,000 out of my personal finances. With that money gone, it was only a matter of time (in this case, about 7 months) before my ability to take care of my household and my business would come to an end.

Between the loss of income from my business — being someone who refuses to bow at the altar of the mango messiah has cost me plenty — and the theft of my personal funds, I’m now at a place where an appeal for financial support is likely my last chance to avoid being shut down for good in order to get a “regular” job so I can take care of my family.

If I’m able to raise enough support to replace my losses, I can make it until the fall when my wife’s business will be bringing in enough to make ends meet. However, I won’t make it until then without your help.

The war against conservatism wouldn’t have had the success it has without Donald Trump and the Republican Party along with the aid and comfort they received from the faux-conservative media. And it was during this time that I initially lost many professional relationships because I refused to participate with media outlets like Salem Media Group. And let’s not forget talk personalities like Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity who turned FOX News into Trump TV, along Mark Levin and Glenn Beck merging Conservative Review and Blaze Media to create the pro-Trump echo chamber known as BlazeTV.

Donald Trump’s COVID tyranny has also contributed to my current financial condition People calling themselves Christians, conservatives, and constitutionalists often lambasted me and made ludicrous claims about me (personally) and my work. For example, self-professing Christians accused me of being “anti-life” and an accessory to homicide for questioning the actions of a government using police state tactics to mandate masks and shut down businesses, schools, and churches while keeping abortion facilities open.

I’ve experienced increasing numbers of people promising to no longer support my work, and most have kept that promise. But if my primary motivation was to increase the number of supporters and followers, I would have followed the rest of the faux-conservative media through the wide gate of compromise a long time ago.

In conclusion, I desperately need financial support on a personal and business level.

Professionally, I need hundreds of followers to donate to the Power of Two by pledging $5 a month. I could also use dozens of one-time contributions of $25, $50, $100 or more immediately. You can donate using the donate button in the upper right-hand corner of this page.

If you’re a believer, I solicit your prayers. The spiritual warfare has always been intense, but the battle in the heavenlies has grown in intensity lately. As Ephesian 6:12 tells us, “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

The death of true conservatism and the rise of socialism is no longer in doubt. The only question remaining is how will we respond? For me, I plan to remain on the road of my principals for as long as I can afford it. How long that will be, only you can decide, but it won’t be long unless you help.

One last thought.

In The Book of Jeremiah, we learn that Jeremiah was called to be a prophet at an unfortunate time as the decline of Judah was already well under way. Many suggested that his message was one of condemnation, not salvation, but Jeremiah still delivered God’s message to a people desperately clinging to nationalism. He was rejected as a meddler and a traitor, and many people, nobles, and kings, alternately tried to put him to death. His life was one of, if not the most, difficult and trial filled existences of any of the Old Testament prophets. Because of what he witnessed and what he preached against, he is referred to as “the weeping prophet.”

I’m not comparing myself to Jeremiah, but I can certainly identify with his story.
