An inconvenient truth for GOP and Far-Left about global warming

One of the many policy areas where Republicans have proven themselves to be simpatico with their Democrat counterparts is with the global warming issue — or as they now call it after numerous record-breaking winters, climate change. And even though this has been true for many years now, it has become glaringly obvious in the Age of Trump.

Beginning with him making his Al Gore-loving daughter Ivanka his defacto climate czar, Trump has been a proponent of her Far-Left climate-change agenda. We find evidence of this fact with his fake withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement and his subsequent appointment of Kelvin Droegemeier as his science advisor. Droegemeier is a proponent of man-caused global warming, and his appointment received the endorsement of Obama’s science advisor, John Holdren, an advocate for using forced abortions, infanticide, and mandatory mass sterilization to fight climate change.

And even though his position on the issue changes on every day ending in y, Trump did sign the National Defense Authorization Act into law a few years ago, a piece of legislation that identified climate change as “a direct threat to national security.”

Bringing up the rear, members of the Republican Party, now rebranded in Trump’s image, have been pushing policies guaranteed to bring a smile to the faces of environmental extremists in both parties.

Just a little over a year ago, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) teamed up with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) to begin making a push for “pragmatic” alternatives to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal, calling for the development of new technologies to reduce so-called greenhouse emissions. This followed an earlier appeal by Reps. John Shimkus (R-IL) and Greg Walden (R-OR) for the GOP to create “sensible, realistic, and effective policies to tackle climate change.”

Over the past six months, Republicans have embraced an Obama-esque redistribute-the-wealth carbon tax scheme to raise money to finance Washington’s spending addiction and give so-called “dividend checks” to American families as part of a “monumental move toward decarbonizing [the] economy.”

Quite simply, Trump and the GOP aren’t even trying to hide their socialist global warming agenda.

The reason I took you on this trip down memory lane is because experts are now predicting that recent sun activity could be an indication of coming freezing weather, earthquakes, and famine. Specifically, the sun has gone into lockdown, entering a period of “solar minimum” where sunspots have virtually disappeared to the lowest level in recorded history.

According to NASA scientists, we could see a repeat of the Dalton Minimum, which happened between 1790 and 1830 — leading to periods of brutal cold, crop loss, famine, and powerful volcanic eruptions. Temperatures plummeted by up to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) over 20 years, devastating the world’s food production. It also led to the so-called Year Without a Summer in 1816 — also nicknamed “eighteen hundred and froze to death” — when there was snow in July.

Solar minimums prove what we’ve always known about climate — the sun controls it, not SUVs or coal-fired power plants. CO2 is plant food, not a pollutant.

Will progressives in the GOP and the Far-Left change their agenda in light of this information about sun activity? Not likely. They’re already working on ways to use coronavirus hysteria as leverage to address climate change issues in current spending legislation — an approach that has garnered the support of more than 330 big businesses, including Microsoft and VISA.

However, I hope this information will wake a few people up to the truth about global warming and the motivation behind the environmental extremists who peddle it: Man-caused global warming is a hoax being used by a tyrannical government to spread socialism and destroy liberty.
