Transgender professor says being a pedophile is normal and, therefore, not immoral
A transgender college professor who recently published information concluding that being a pedophile is normal and, therefore, not immoral has resigned just eight days after being placed on administrative leave by her employer, Old Dominion University.
By the way, Walker is a transgender male (a female) who prefers to us they/them pronouns . . . and I prefer not to use them.
Last month, Allyn Walker, an Old Dominion University (ODU) professor of sociology and criminal justice, drew the attention of many for her work on individuals she referred to as “Minor-Attracted Persons” or “MAPs” for short — the new politically correct way to identify a pedophile — and her conclusion that they shouldn’t be ostracized for behavior (via New York Post):
An assistant professor at a Virginia university is taking heat for saying it isn’t necessarily immoral for adults to be sexually attracted to children — prompting college officials to put out a statement clarifying the claim.
Allyn Walker, who teaches sociology and criminal justice at Old Dominion University, made the controversial comment while discussing “minor-attracted persons” and pedophiles during a Nov. 8 interview with the Prostasia Foundation, a San Francisco-based child protection organization.
Walker was discussing their book, “A Long Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity,” when he insisted it’s important to use that terminology instead of “pedophile” because it’s less stigmatizing.
“A lot of people when they hear the term ‘pedophile,’ they automatically assume that it means a sex offender, and that isn’t true,” Walker said during the 28-minute interview. “And it leads to a lot of misconceptions about attractions towards minors.”
Walker acknowledged use of term “minor-attracted persons” — or MAPs — suggests to some that it’s OK to be attracted to children but said labeling anyone wholly by their sexual desires doesn’t indicate anything about their morality. (emphasis mine)
If you’re wondering how Walker came to the conclusion that being a pedophile isn’t immoral, she’s using the “born this way” talking point perfected by the LGBT movement.
“I’ve definitely heard the idea that you brought up though that the use of the term minor attracted person suggests that it’s okay to be attracted to children. But using a term that communicates who someone is attracted to doesn’t indicate anything about the morality of that attraction. From my perspective, there is no morality or immorality attached to attraction anyone because no one can control who they’re attracted to.” (emphasis mine)

In an article I wrote in July 2019, I documented how polygamy and pedophilia would become the new battlefields in the LGBT culture war against Christianity and religious liberty. And thanks to the voluntary and politically motivated assistance received by the courts and the Republican Party along with faux conservatives in the evangelical community and the media, the LGBT army has steadily marched on toward the goal of legally mandating the acceptance and normalization of their *deviant lifestyle.
*NOTE: I’m often called a homophobe and/or a transphobe for using the words deviant and deviance to describe the motivations behind the LGBT agenda, but as a believer in the meaning of words, deviant is the perfect description as defined by the Collins English Dictionary:
Deviant (adj): behavior or thinking different from what people normally consider to be acceptable.
Deviance (noun): sexual deviance, including the abuse of children.
As I mentioned above, being a pedophile is being promoted as a normal “born this way” condition, a clever and deceptive strategy because if having sex with children is normal, it can’t be deviant or immoral. Instead, it’s merely an orientation.
While there are those who reject my conclusions as little more than the old-fashioned imaginations of an un-woke Christian conservative, the real world continues to validate my position that the LGBT agenda is moving toward “normalizing” the pedophile.
Here’s an example: In July 2019, members of the LGBT Legislative Caucus in California introduced legislation (SB-145) “to end blatant discrimination against LGBT young people regarding California’s sex offender registry.”
According to State Senator Scott Wiener of San Francisco, straight young people who engage in sex with minors aren’t required to register as sex offenders, but LGBT youth are.
Instead of working on ways to more effectively punish sexual assault on children, LGBT radicals in the California legislature decided that since homosexual sex with a minor is no different than heterosexual sex with a minor, they would change existing law to allow an LGBT child molester to avoid registering as a sex offender.
After amendments to SB-145 were completed by the California Senate making it even more LGBT friendly, the bill was passed by the state legislature in September 2020 and was signed into law by Gov. Newsom, thus giving the LGBT culture war another victory in the “normalization” battle.
Normalizing homosexuality was the first battle in the LGBT culture war against morality many years ago; which led to normalizing transgenderism; which led to normalizing polyamory and pedophilia.
Despite the deviant and immoral attempt by this transgender college professor to make the behavior of the pedophile normal by removing the word from the LGBT lexicon, it is the “nail on the head” definition because the desire to have sex with children is no different than acting on it according to Merriam-Webster:
Like I said, I believe in the power and meaning of words.
