Chris Christie: NSA spying fears are “baloney”

NSA - Only part of govt listening

The majority of Americans oppose it. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled it illegal. The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed the USA Freedom Act to stop it (the Senate is about to do the same). And if it reaches his desk, Obama is likely to sign it into law. But when it comes to warrantless data collection of American phone records — that’s spying to you and me — Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Governor Chris Christie thinks that concerns over the loss of civil liberties as a result of the NSA program are…

Mike Coffman: Pelosi’s pro-amnesty Republican

Dream Army

This week Rep. Mike Coffman of Colorado was one of only 20 Republicans to join Nancy Pelosi and 181 other House Democrats in supporting the amnesty amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Luckily, they failed. The amnesty amendment removed from the NDAA – over Coffman’s objections – would have recommended the secretary of defense invite the young beneficiaries of Obama’s DACA “deferred action” amnesty be invited to join the US Army as a way to expedite their path to citizenship. Thus, we would compromise even further the standards for military enlistment that have already been eroded by the…

1 - Pledge of Allegiance

Though not as common as it used to be, there are still schools where reciting the Pledge of Allegiance is done at the beginning of every school day. Unfortunately, whack-o left-wing extremists who don’t believe in America don’t like saying the pledge, calling it an offense to their “rights,” with one of the most commonly used objections being that it contains the phrase “under God.” As these radicals take their make-believe right not to be offended by the word “God” to court, judges often rule that the rights of these radicals take precedence over those who want to say the…

NSA - Liberty vs Security

RINO Bob Corker is at it again! After leading the way in passing legislation that surrendered the Senate’s constitutional responsibility to approve treaties — guaranteeing that Iran will have nuclear weapons sooner rather than later — the constitutionally illiterate Senator from Tennessee is about to join forces with Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame enshrinees John McCain and Mitch McConnell in pushing for an extension to the law allowing the National Security Agency to continue its warrantless collection of phone records. It was just recently that a three judge panel of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan…

Jeb Bush: worst of the worst for 2016

Jeb Bush sleeping people

Believe it or not, we are only 18 months away from the 2016 presidential election — assuming that Obama doesn’t issue an Executive Order declaring himself king and cancel it — and the electorate is beginning to see just how little the Washington establishment has to offer from the so-called front-runners in both parties. According to a just released George Washington University Battleground Poll, Americans aren’t all that excited with the potential 2016 presidential candidates, especially Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Jeb Bush and Vice President Joe Biden. Overall, the poll found voters pretty unexcited about the current…
