Trump solidifies his liberal credentials with the Democrat party

With his Rescind-In-Name-Only DACA order, Trump made his intentions concerning DREAMers crystal clear—he wants amnesty for the one million or more illegals currently protected by Obama’s unconstitutional executive order. Following a meeting with congressional leaders yesterday, Trump has guaranteed that he’ll get what he wants concerning DACA, but the consequences will go far beyond amnesty for illegals.

In an act of total capitulation to Democrat minority leaders Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi—and despite the objections of everyone with an “R” after their name—Trump announced yesterday that he will accept an obvious political ploy by the Democrats to tie Hurricane Harvey relief to a short-term debt ceiling increase until mid-December.

With this one action alone, Trump not only surrendered control of DACA to Chuck and Nancy, he essentially relinquished control of the budget along with a myriad of other pet projects they might have.

During the meeting yesterday, Trump those in attendance know that his signature on debt ceiling legislation will be “automatic” because it’s just too important.

With this commitment by Trump firmly in hand, all the Dynamic Duo of Diabolical Democrats must do is attach whatever rider they choose to the “must-pass” debt limit increase in December, and bada-bing, bada-boom . . . complete victory! DACA becomes law, and spending priorities become whatever Chuck and Nancy decide.

Trump will be completely fine with this outcome. As a big-government liberal himself, he most likely agrees with about 99% of Democrats’ spending priorities. For example, it was during his first speech to a joint session of Congress that Trump sounded downright Obama-esque as he laid out a laundry list of big-government spending objectives.

Following the meeting, Pelosi and Schumer could hardly contain their glee at the fact that Trump had relinquished his authority to them. In a joint statement, the Democrat leaders essentially laid down their conditions for a debt-ceiling vote:

In the meeting, the President and Congressional leadership agreed to pass aid for Harvey, an extension of the debt limit, and a continuing resolution both to December 15, all together. Both sides have every intention of avoiding default in December and look forward to working together on the many issues before us. As Democratic leaders, we also made it clear that we strongly believe the DREAM Act must come to the floor and pass as soon as possible and we will not rest until we get this done.

Donald Trump is a New York liberal possessing absolutely no conservative convictions. We’ve known this all along, and we also knew it would only be a matter of time before his true liberal colors would show. And even with the Republicans controlling Washington, with the sorry state of the GOP, the sky’s the limit on how far left Trump will go.

The Trump cult continually tells me that Trump had to be elected because he’s “not Hillary.” Well . . .
