Loretta Lynch’s nomination as the new Attorney General to replace Eric Holder is being held up in the Senate, and according to chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-NC), there’s only one reason for it. It’s because she’s black. Senate Republicans have been very clear in how they feel about Lynch. They are concerned that she will essentially continue the policies of Eric Holder.
