Elections in America are being stolen!

When the Supreme Court decided recently that Texas could keep their voter ID laws in place for the November elections, the cries from the left of racism and disenfranchisement was, as you would expect, right on queue. After all, voter fraud simply isn’t a problem in America. Yeah, and I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. No sooner have these objections from the left been raised that we have been provided with several examples of the fraud and abuse that voter ID laws—along with calls to eliminate early voting and mail-in ballots—are needed if we are to preserve the integrity…

Ebola: An excuse for racism?

In 2008, those on the left held up Barack Hussein Obama as a candidate who presented an opportunity for America to elect a post-racial President; a man who could bring healing to a nation wounded by a history of racial division. Yet, from Attorney General Eric Holder to Obama himself, we have been fed a steady diet of race-baiting politics meant to silence anyone who dared to criticize or disagree with the man Louis Farrakhan once hailed as the messiah. The subpoenas came after pastors protested against Houston’s new non-discrimination ordinance…

Tyranny: The new normal

Last week, the government released employment data that showed a drop in unemployment even though the economy remained weak and the country reached a record low labor participation rate. As the left-wing grapples with this disparity between statistics and reality, they have come to adopt an interesting term to describe this failure. They call it the new norm, which has become a way to provide cover for their failed policies while making it sound like it’s not their fault. I’m sure you remember how they did the same thing when Bush was president, right? Of course you don’t. This “new norm” has become…

The FCC, the Washington Redskins, and Joseph Goebbels

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. There goes the Strident Conservative with another Hitler comparison. Well, check out this story from Newsmax.com about the Washington Redskins and see if you don’t come to the same conclusion I have: The Federal Communications Commission has been asked to punish a broadcaster for indecency for using the name of the Washington NFL team, the Redskins, and FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler is leaning in that direction. Reuters reported that the FCC, which enforces broadcast indecency violations, has received a petition from legal activist John Banzhaf III, asking that regulators strip local radio station WWXX-FM of…
