To win the war on energy you need to name the enemy

February 24, 2015
Obama Energy Regulations

“If you don’t call it something, you can’t connect the dots,” said Rudy Giuliani talking about ISIS. “If you can’t connect the dots, you can’t really combat it … you can’t have the battle of ideas … If you are going to debate it, you have to call it what it is.” The same can be said about the organized attack on fossil fuel development and use in America. If you don’t acknowledge a battle of ideas exists, you can’t connect the dots, and you can’t really combat it. It has recently been revealed that Russia is laundering tens of…

What’s next for the Keystone pipeline?

Obama Keystone veto

After six years of dithering, the Keystone pipeline project has finally cleared both the Senate and the House with strong bipartisan support—mere percentage points away from a veto-proof majority. Now it goes to the White House where President Obama has vowed to veto it. We won’t have to wait long. He has ten days to make a decision. As she was preparing last April for her 4th senate term in a state significantly more conservative and Republican then when she won her first Senate campaign in 1996, Sen. Landrieu laid out the major argument she would make to voters in an interview with “Without sounding braggadocios, I’m indispensable in this effort to secure for Louisiana a significant and reliable string…

Conservative Comedy 5/2/14

Play It Where It Lies

It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend. Thanks to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit from the group Judicial Watch, the “most transparent administration in history” has grudgingly coughed up a copy of an email from White House aide Ben Rhodes in which he pushed Susan Rice to go on the Sunday talk shows days after the terrorist attack in Benghazi…and blame everything on a ridiculous Internet video rather…
