Obamacare architect gives GOP another reason to repeal it

A third video has emerged showing MIT economist Jonathan Gruber—the architect of Obamacare—insulting voters as being too ignorant to understand the complex economies involved in the Affordable Care Act, and how lying about the details was necessary to get it passed. By the way, if you were unaware that there were ANY videos exposing Mr. Gruber, let alone three, then you most likely get your news from the mainstream media. They continue being complicit in covering up the attrocities of Obamacare, just as they have covered up his other policy disasters since annointing him in 2008.

In the videos, Mr. Gruber called Americans stupid while admitting that the White House lied to us all. This last point is significant because it proves that Obama lied, knew he was lying, and lied about lying when he made his now famous “if you like your insurance you can keep your insurance” promise, along with his promises that we could keep our doctor while seeing lower costs and better coverage.

Of course, that ruse is now history, but the memory of those lies were in the minds of voters last week when they gave control of Congress back to the Republicans, who, contrary to what the Obama White House thinks, are not stupid.

Actually, it’s a bit ironic that Mr. Gruber would call the voters the ignorant ones. If you remember, it was then Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who was so ignorant of the law she ushered through the House of Representatives that when she was asked about some of the details of Obamacare before it became law, she responded that “we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it.”

Seizing control of the nation’s healthcare system was a crucial step to the long-term goals of progressive, liberal Democrats. Which is why the GOP must heed the mandate they were clearly given to stop this atrocity.

Every Republican who won election ran on a promise to repeal Obamacare. EVERY ONE! In light of the facts we are now seeing in these scandalous videos, Mitch McConnell and John Boehner—who have stated since the election that they aren’t all that keen on fighting Obamacare—need to do the job voters mandated they do.

Either that, or they need to step aside so the REAL Conservatives like Ted Cruz can get it done.
