Obama Slams Paul Ryan For Not Passing Farm Bill That Was Passed Two Weeks Ago

It’s no mystery that the Liar-in-Chief will say anything or do anything to hold on to his throne Presidency. A recent visit to the voters in Iowa was no exception.

In a speech where he attempted to put a failed farm bill at the feet of Ryan and the Republican-controlled House – he accused Ryan of being one of the leaders “standing in the way” – Obama encouraged his listeners to (tell Ryan) “how important this farm bill is to Iowa and our rural communities.”

Just one small problem with his accusation – IT’S A LIE!

As you will see in this short video, the House passed a short-term farm bill meant to address the immediate needs of farmers caused by the drought before their August recess. Obama’s claim of obstruction is based on the fact that the House didn’t rubber-stamp a 5-year, $500 billion, Senate bill that should have been called “The Food Stamp Bill” (80% of the money goes to food stamps) instead of a farm bill. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), the chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, refused to consider the House measure even though the White House would have considered it.

“I’m not passing a bill that only covers some producers,” said Senator Debbie Stabenow, Democrat of Michigan, the chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture Committee.

Moments after the House passed its bill, Ms. Stabenow took to the Senate floor to say that lawmakers would instead work informally over the August recess to try to put together a new measure to present to Congress when it meets in September. The White House would have considered the House measure, but she resisted, Senate aides said.

Facts are a tricky a thing, aren’t they Barry?

Of course, it could be that Barry’s lying means that his chickens are coming home to roost – I’m sorry, did that sound like Rev. Jeremiah Wright? – as is evidenced in a new video release that highlights by Americans For Prosperity:
