Nuclear deal with Iran proves John Kerry was right

Ich Bin Ein StupidIn his article earlier this week, Tom Tancredo wondered if Obama was committing treason as a result of the nuclear “deal” he has negotiated with Iran—a deal Israel calls a dream for Iran and a nightmare for the world.

The answer to that question is open for debate, but one thing is certain—he is at least guilty of committing stupidity.

In the days following this agreement to discuss an agreement, Obama has gone on record as to just how dangerous and totally inadequate this so-called breakthrough in the negotiations between the West and Iran truly is.

In an interview with National Public Radio on Monday, Obama shot down an Israeli demand that any nuclear deal be predicated on Tehran’s recognition of Israel’s right to exist:

“The notion that we would condition Iran not getting nuclear weapons in a verifiable deal on Iran recognizing Israel is really akin to saying that we won’t sign a deal unless the nature of the Iranian regime completely transforms. That is, I think, a fundamental misjudgment.”

Man, Israel sure can be demanding. Who do they think they are demanding that a country with a declared policy of annihilating them at least recognize their right to exist?

Following his Monday statement, Obama said in another interview on Tuesday where he admitted that the deal with Iran only delays their ability to acquire a nuclear weapon, and does nothing to stop them. This obvious admission followed a wave of criticism from both parties that the deal isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Obama also insisted that Iran would not get a weapon during his tenure, but he refused to make any guarantees past that time.

“The option of a future president to take action if, in fact, they try to obtain a nuclear weapon is undiminished.”

Translation? I’m going to cover my *ss until I’m out of office, and then blame the next guy for my failure to do my job.

Unfortunately, it appears Obama is about to get some help from one of the RINO WIMPS in the Senate. On Wednesday he called Senator Bob Corker to seek his support for the deal. Obama spoke with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman—who carries an “F” grade with Conservative Review—the week before the panel considers a bill Corker co-sponsored that would give Congress 60 days to review the agreement before giving it an up-or-down vote.

A noble sounding effort, but like I said, Corker is a RINO. Based on his track record, I’m fairly confident that he’ll end up leading the way on another cave by the Republican majority we elected to stop Obama and his agenda.

Iran has pledged to annihilate Israel and America, yet Obama thinks that this deal, even if hardliners inside Iran actively oppose it, is better than no deal.

“I think there are hard-liners inside of Iran that think it is the right thing to do to oppose us, to seek to destroy Israel, to cause havoc in places like Syria or Yemen or Lebanon,” Obama said, according to FOX News. “If they don’t change at all, we’re still better off having the deal.”

John Kerry once stated that, “Americans have a right to be stupid.” It looks like he was correct, because Obama is exercising that right in his negotiations with Iran.
