It’s The Republicans Fault – Yeah, That’s The Ticket

On the same day that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts elected Republican Scott Brown to fill the Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for nearly five decades, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) blamed GOP obstructionism for the problems Democrats have had hanging on to their power.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic. I just hope they keep thinking this way right up to November.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) on Tuesday said that angst voters have expressed early this election year is the result of GOP obstructionism, not the Democrats agenda…

“I think what the public is angry about is they see, first of all, an opposition for opposition’s sake,” Hoyer told reporters…

The Maryland lawmaker did acknowledge that Democrats have been hit because they are the party in power and the economy continues to struggle.

“We’re all pretty unpopular..Why? Because people don’t feel good and we’re the leaders and we’re in office and they expected us to do something,” he said.

So, let me get this straight. Polls show Americans are opposed to the Democrat’s socialist agenda being crammed down their throats in the form of government bailouts and Obamacare, but Republicans are being obstructionists because they vote against these policies?

Doesn’t the fact that Scott Brown ran for office (and won) by publicly opposing Obama’s radical agenda in one of the bluest states in America kind of shoot a hole in that whole line of thinking?

Unfortunately for America, when faced with the reality that the they have lost two governor elections (VA and NJ) and a special Senatorial election because of their radical left-wing agenda, Democrats didn’t bother making adjustments by listening to the voters – Instead, they chose to make something up and blame everyone but themselves…..

…..alot like pathological liar Tommy Flanagan. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
