Is Obama About To Surrender U.S. Sovereignty?

During graduation ceremonies at West Point over the weekend, our “Commander-in-Chief” rallied the troops to be prepared to serve under a new “International Order” where the military will be responsible for a myriad of international endeavors.

“Our adversaries would like to see America sap its strength by overextending our power, so we have to shape an international order that can meet the challenges of our generation,” Obama said.

“America has not succeeded by stepping outside the currents of cooperation; we have succeeded by steering those currents in the direction of liberty and justice — so nations thrive by meeting their responsibilities, and face consequences when they don’t,” he told the graduating class at the military academy.

“This engagement is not an end in itself. The international order we seek is one that can resolve the challenges of our times — countering violent extremism and insurgency; stopping the spread of nuclear weapons and securing nuclear materials; combating a changing climate and sustaining global growth; helping countries feed themselves and care for their sick; preventing conflict and healing its wounds,” he said.

Gee, no mention of “providing for the common defense?” You know, like it says in the U.S. Constitution? Oh wait, I forgot he doesn’t like the Constitution because it gets in the way of his socio-fascist beliefs.

You may recall that the concerns over Obama’s world view came to light very early in his campaign for President. It was during his run for office that the man who would be declared “The World’s President” by CNN would proclaim himself a “citizen of the world” – who would call for the “tearing down of walls” for our “common humanity.”

In his first year in office, he embarked on what would become known as his “World Apology Tour.” While on foreign soil, he repeatedly acted subservient to foreign leaders, bowing to them on many occasions and making frequent statements of contrition to allies and enemies alike.

Since that time, the chosen one has repeatedly reinforced the perception that he sees American sovereignty and the U.S. Constitution as a stumbling block to his socialist agenda — an agenda that appears to be global as well as domestic — and he sees America’s role as a world super power as being responsible for many of the world’s ills.

For instance, in his speech to the United Nations last fall, Obama clearly expressed his belief that only a socialistic approach to the world’s problems would work in solving them.

“Nothing is easier than blaming others for our troubles and absolving ourselves of responsibility for our choices and our actions. Anyone can do that,” said Obama.

“Responsibility and leadership in the 21st century demands more. In an era when our destiny is shared, power is no longer a zero sum game. No one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed. No balance of power among nations will hold.” (emphasis mine)

Following this was his Executive Order last December giving new powers to INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) that removed limitations that have been in force since Ronald Reagan. Those restrictions protected the Fourth Amendment rights of Americans and subjected INTERPOL records to the Freedom Of Information Act.

As I posted when this happened, this move was seen as a precursor to America signing the Rome Statute, which would put America under the control of international courts.

Even when he was negotiating recently with Russia to get a new nuclear arms treaty, he clearly was uncomfortable with America’s superiority in this area, even though we won the Cold War, which resulted in the break up of the former Soviet Union and the destruction of the Berlin Wall.

Not to be outdone by his boss, the poster boy for the Hair Club for Men (Vice President Biden) made this amazing statement when he addressed the European Parliament in Brussels in which he encouraged the EU to support Washington’s global agenda and approach to threats such as climate change and terrorism.

I know I’m risking being labeled a conspiracy theorist with multiple posts on this subject, but when you look at his repeated statements on the subject of global governance, along with his radical progressive beliefs and the fact that he is most liberal and inexperienced President in U.S. history, this should be cause for great concern.

As Obama prepares to announce the first national security strategy of his administration, we have to wonder if Obama is about to surrender America’s sovereignty? The evidence seems to indicate an obvious answer.
