DOJ clears Ferguson police officer… sort of

just-loot“Hands up, don’t shoot” became the rallying cry of race-baiting liberal extremists after the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO. It was adopted by entertainers, professional athletes, make-believe journalists, and Democrats in Congress.

But these words turned out to be a lie.

According to Officer Darren Wilson, the officer who shot Brown, the phrase was an absolute lie. Brown never raised his hands or asked Wilson not to shoot. On Wednesday, the Department of Justice released a report that confirmed Wilson’s story.

Here are a few exerpts from the report:

Although there are several individuals who have stated that Brown held his hands up in an unambiguous sign of surrender prior to Wilson shooting him dead, their accounts do not support a prosecution of Wilson … some of those accounts are inaccurate because they are inconsistent with the physical and forensic evidence.

The report also found that, just as Wilson claimed, Brown reached inside Wilson’s vehicle and hit him. It also concluded that Brown did reach for Wilson’s gun and was shot at close range in the vehicle when Wilson fought back. In addition, there was no evidence found that supported the claim that Wilson shot Brown in the back while he was running away from Wilson. All the evidence showed that Wilson only shot Brown after Brown stopped, turned around, and then charged Wilson.

So, just as they did in the case of Obama’s imaginary son, Trayvon Martin, the White House played the race card and lost. The result was rioting in the streets, financial ruin for local businesses (many of them minority-owned), vandalism, death, and injury.

But hey, at least they ruined the life of an innocent police officer and his family.

Not to worry though. Even in the face of these facts, Eric Holder justified those who rioted, saying that “some of those protesters were right” for supporting the criminal who tried to kill a cop.

Eric Holder once accused America of being “a nation of cowards” when it came to dealing with race issues. However, I think this story tells us who the real cowards are.
