Democrats won the White House in 2016, not Republicans

In the aftermath of the termination of Reince Priebus as his Chief of Staff, it is being reported that Donald Trump is ready to wage war against the Republican Congress.

Besides the fact that this essentially eliminates any chance Trump would have of advancing his flip-flopping agenda, this “declaration” by the most unpopular president in modern history confirms what everyone not wearing orange-tinted glasses have always known about The Donald–he is a dyed-in-the-wool New York Liberal.

As you would expect from a White House run by liberals, Trump has been purging his administration of Republicans at historic levels, even those he hired. The result has been the elimination of any and all Republican influence in, or around the White House.

Let me state for the record, that Washington, DC is filled with RINOs and political opportunists–was that being redundant?–and I’m not shedding any tears over the departure of a person like Priebus after what he did at the Republican National Convention when he rigged the system in Trump’s favor by preventing delegates to follow the rules and vote their consciences.

And let me also say that ANY hope I had that Republicans in Congress would keep their promises went by the wayside after the recent fake attempt at the fake-repeal of Obamacare. If they get shellacked next year, they will have no one to blame but themselves.

Within the White House, we have already documented how Jared and Ivanka–who couldn’t vote for Daddy during the GOP primaries because they are registered Democrats–have been driving Trump’s policy and personnel decisions. In addition, Trump has been filling openings within his administration with people who are exactly like himself, such as Anthony Scaramucci–a life-long liberal with a propensity to resort to vulgarities and lies in order to destroy his political enemies.

Trump and the GOP continue to prove that they are exactly who we thought they were, and events since the November election have killed what little hope we had that America’s course would be corrected. We thought we were putting conservative Republicans in charge of Washington; instead, we ended up with liberal Democrats.

Do you remember how the Trump cult told us that his inexperience and non-conservative behavior would be kept in check once we surrounded him with experienced, conservative Republicans?

Yeah . . . me too.
