Conservative Comedy Friday – 4/15/16

In the words of John McCain, “Allahu Akbar It’s Friday!” And of course that means it’s time for some conservative comedy. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best conservative political and religious comedy, jokes, and satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.

Rocker Bruce Springsteen has cancelled a concert appearance in Greensboro, North Carolina to protest the state’s law which segregated bathroom privileges based exclusively on an individual’s God-given plumbing rather than their current (and sometimes flexible) gender self-identification. Moreover, in an additional show of solidarity for the “whichever damn bathroom we choose” crowd,  Springsteen has changed the name of his backup group to “The P Street Band.”

Not to be outdone by Springsteen, geriatric rocker Bryan Adams also stunned the music world on two fronts: first by pointing out that he’s still alive, and second by cancelling an alleged concert in Mississippi (disappointing dozens) to protest their antiquated binary bathroom laws.

Which leads the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change to wonder if his fleeting radio hit “Cuts Like a Knife” was about gender reassignment surgery.

Jodi Miller at Newsbusted takes us into the weekend with these headlines: Bernie Sanders accuses Hillary of not being qualified to be president, Hugh Hefner celebrates his 90th birthday, and John Kasich needs Common Core math to win the nomination. Additional stories include: Michelle Obama celebrates the Iranian New Year in the White House, the Iran nuclear deal goes south, and California raises the minimum wage to $15 an hour. She wraps up this week with a story about Geraldo Rivera and Dancing With the Stars.

It’s tax time, and we know how painful this annual torture can be as tax codes become ever more complicated. With that in mind, take a moment to watch GoRemy at ReasonTV as he channels One Direction to help us understand the tax code.

According to AlfonZo Rachel, conservatives showed no backbone when liberals showed their true misogynistic colors against Sarah Palin following the Azealia Banks tweet calling for her to be gang-raped by black men. They failed to point out who the real haters of women are, and they allowed liberals to influence them into judging Sarah Palin along with them.
