It’s Conservative Comedy time at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best conservative political and religious comedy, jokes, and satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.
The Secret Service is in some not-too-secret trouble following an incident Friday in which a man with a knife climbed over the White House fence, ran 70 yards across the lawn, and then entered the White House through an unlocked front door.
Fortunately, and entirely unsurprisingly, neither the president nor his family were in the White House at the time, having left for a weekend retreat at Camp David. Not that one man with a knife could really do much damage anyway without access to ISIS’s YouTube account. At least, that’s how the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change sees it.
Jodi Miller at Newsbusted provides plenty of laughs this week on several news stories, including: record tax revenues for Uncle Sam and how it’s being spent, the record number of food stamp recipients, and the record income being earned by non-citizens. Additional stories include: marijuana legalization in California, the special qualification that got Jay Carney his job at CNN, and Sylvester Stallone is making a new Rambo movie. These are just a few of the stories Jodi covers for us this week.
By the way, Newsbusted is looking for donations to upgrade their product to HD. If you want to give a tax-deductible donation, you can find out more at: www.HDnewsbusted.com.
The situation with ISIS continues to be in the news, prompting Obama to actually pretend to be a Commander-in-Chief. Considering his track record in dealing with terrorist groups, perhaps a backup plan should be ready to go. Go Remy has come up with an idea that just might solve the ISIS crisis (with a little help from the NFL). Check out his latest music parody, The ISIS Crisis Rap.
AlfonZo Rachel has something to say about the ISIS situation, specifically Obama’s claim that ISIS has nothing in common with Islam, even going as far as to remind us that it is a peaceful religion. Is it though? Really? See what Zo has to say.
