Conservative Comedy – 8/14/15

Allahu Akbar It's Friday

It’s Conservative Comedy time at the Strident Conservative where I bring you some of the best conservative political and religious comedy, jokes, and satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.

As surely as the swallows return to Capistrano and the Obama’s return to the five-star environs of Martha’s Vineyard, rioters have returned to Ferguson to block highways, set things on fire, loot businesses, and shoot at police officers in loving memory of Michael “Gentle Giant when he’s not violently assaulting someone” Brown. Not that there haven’t also been peaceful protesters, exercising their Constitutional right to be wrong about the whole “hands up, don’t shoot” myth.

What puzzles The Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change is why there is still so much anger and animosity considering that Obama’s DOJ not only completely (albeit reluctantly) exonerated the officer involved in the shooting, but also assumed supervisory oversight of the Ferguson police department and required them to make across the board reforms.

Jodi Miller at Newsbusted takes us into the weekend with these headlines: Obama’s vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers are falling, and the movie 13 Hours is released. Additional stories include: Census Bureau finds the babies Planned Parenthood missed, 17 GOP candidates for president means Lindsey Graham has more enemies than supporters, and Hillary has a hard time with cheating by the Iranians. She wraps up her show with a story on the border crisis and recent polling on the issue.

With the first round of Republican debates behind us, we have videos from two of our favorite contributors. First up, GoRemy from Reason TV, tries out as a potential candidate in his latest video: GOP Debate: The Rap.

The second video comes from the talented folks at schmoyoho and Songify The News. In We Need Brain: Songify the G.O.P. Debate! they noticed how 10 Republican dudes disagreed about things, including who has hugged who. They would also like for you to read their NY Times director’s statement to see the serious side of this video.

And keeping with the debate theme, AlfonZo Rachel takes a look at the Fox News GOP debate performances of Donald Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, Gov. John Kasich and Gov. Mike Huckabee. He is critical of most, but find out which candidate he tips his hat to.

Zo is a Christian conservative social / political humorist, whose work is distinguished by his grinning delivery and rapid fire rant style in his video commentaries called, ZoNation, featured on PJ Media.
