It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.
Attorney General Eric Holder, speaking before the House of Representatives, proposed the implementation of “common sense” gun reforms like the Rube Goldberg nightmare in today’s cartoon. Seriously, when some screaming maniac chainsaws his way into your house on a dark and stormy night and is shredding the closet door behind which your terrified family is huddling, do you want your gun disabled because of a complicated, fallible electronic ID bracelet designed by the same techno-idiots who came up with Healthcare.gov? (“Error 404 – Try Shooting Later!”)
Clearly, there’s a pretty wild disparity between Holder’s belief that such an ID system for gun owners is simply “common sense,” while a photo ID system for voters is, in his words, an “aggressive step to curtail the voting rights of African-Americans.” The same African-Americans, we presume, who will be unable to defend their lives, their family, and their property if Holder’s gun control proposal is implemented.
Despite his concerns, the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change is not entirely opposed to the idea of mandatory electronic ID bracelets. In fact, he’s eagerly looking forward to the day one is locked around Eric Holder’s ankle when he’s finally convicted for his many crimes against the Constitution.
We are only bringing you one news report from Jodi Miller at Newsbusted this week due to an expanded ZoNation. In the latest example of just how far Republicans are willing to go to
win lose an election, there are rumblings around Washington that the G.O.P. is considering an illegal-immigration bill before the elections in November. While we’re on the subject of Republicans, a recent survey shows that a majority of them feel that the T.E.A. Party doesn’t help them to which we respond, that’s the point, stupid!
Also covered this week: Obama has created shovel-ready jobs, George Soros’ true motivation behind his marijuana legalization push, and the latest confrontation between a parent and Common Core. Enjoy a good laugh at these and other stories.
As mentioned, we have the first three of a four-part special from AlfonZo Rachel where he examines the liberal meme that blames conservatives and credits liberals for a list of policies and issues in American history. He also points to the cowardice of democrats trying to throw people off the scent of their rotten history by trying to switch labels in order to stigmatize conservatives. Get the lowdown in this week’s ZoNation.
