Conservative Comedy 2/28/14

Allahu Akbar It's Friday

It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend.

Barack Obama, known throughout the land as “the thriftiest president ever,” has shockingly declared that his new budget will “end the era of austerity” in our nation’s capital. Some critics have suggested that the president wasn’t exactly exercising “austerity” before his announcement, or at least that’s what we assume the critics were about to suggest when blood started spraying out of their ears just before their heads exploded.

Still, in an effort to prove that the president actually knows what the word “austerity” means, he has announced that even though he’ll be spending more money on everything that his “Spending Money Foolishly Czars” can think of, he is going to be drastically cutting back funding for our military. Which, as the Conservative Comic at Hope n’ Change tells us, might not be all that bad when you consider how many more of our troops will now be forced to go on foodstamps.

We have two reports from Jodi Miller at Newsbusted. Headlines for this week’s episodes include: Obama and the President’s Day holiday, Jimmy Fallon and the Tonight Show, a new poll showing 70% of Obama voters now regreting their vote, and a new fight is brewing at MSNBC between Ed Schultz and Chris Matthews. Some of the other stories covered are: Piers Morgan getting fired at CNN, actress Ellen Page’s announcement that she’s a lesbian, Muslims on Mars, and the Craigslist killer. Enjoy a good laugh at these and other stories.

The decision whether or not to watch the Oscars is easier for AlfonZo Rachel than it is for the Oscars to decide whether or not Woody Allen being a pervert hurts his chances to win. Hear more in this edition of ZoNation.
