Even though the Republican party owes much their recent electoral success to the T.E.A. Party and other conservative groups—giving them control of the House of Representatives since 2010—they have decided that they no longer need or want them to be a part of moving America forward, going as far as to essentially declare war against them. These RINO WIMPS (Republicans In Name Only who are Washington Insiders Masquarading as Public Servants) have made it known that there will be no room for principled politicians in Washington, particularly when they upset the apple cart of the Republican establishment. It should be noted here: we…

2014 establishment Republicans just as poisonous as the 2010 version

When groups like the T.E.A. Party were on the rise leading up to the mid-term elections of 2010, Barry Goldwater Jr. recalled how similar they were to the conservative movement his father stood for. He was particularly impressed with how it reminded him “…of the conservative movement in 1960 and 1964,” and he concluded that they were “…people who are sick and tired of the country moving to the left.” While the final results were mixed, T.E.A. One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future Dr. Ben Carson, MD with Candy Carson – New York: Sentinel Penguin, 2014, 256 pp Our growing debt and deteriorating morals have driven us from the [Founding Fathers'] intent. We’ve made very little progress in basic education. Obamacare threatens our health, liberty, and financial future. Media elitism and political correctness are out of control. Worst of all, we seem to have lost our ability to discuss important issues calmly and respectfully regardless of party affiliation or other differences. As a doctor rather than a politician, I care about what works, not whether…

McConnell with gun

You know it must be getting close to election season—and that his chance of winning isn’t looking too good—when Mitch McConnell breaks out with his rendition of “(What a) Wonderful World” (my apologies to the great Sam Cooke). ♬ Don’t know much about the GOP Don’t know much about the TEA Party Don’t know how a promise kept might look Don’t know much about the oath I took But I do know that I love you And I know that if you love me too What a wonderful Senate this would be Don’t know much about Kentucky I’ve spent too much time in…
