America didn’t lose her greatness – It was decapitated

Liberty hides her face

The Bloomberg Politics Poll has published the results of a survey that asked people which presidential candidate can best recover “America’s lost greatness.”  Are we surprised that 72 percent of Americans believe our nation is not as great as it used to be? I am more surprised that 26 percent have managed to sleep through the last fifty years. Unfortunately, the Bloomberg survey tells us nothing important about candidates’ knowledge of how we lost that greatness. Was it stolen, abandoned or bartered away? What the poll really tells us is that we are deeply divided over what makes a great nation, and…

Professors: Denying global warming should be a crime – literally!

September 21, 2015
Freedom of speech - Voltaire

Are you a flat earther? You know, someone who doubts the reality of man-made global warming. If you are, you might find yourself in need of a lawyer — at least that could be the case if the recommendations of a group of professors ever become reality. A group of 20 university professors are hoping the federal government will prosecute global warming skeptics. They expressed this idea in a letter to the Obama earlier this month where they compared those who doubt man-made global warming to the tobacco industry: We appreciate that you are making aggressive and imaginative use of…

It was just this week that we learned that the munchkin mayor of New York City – “we  represent the nanny-state guild, the nanny-state guild, the nanny-state guild” – has proposed making large sugared soft drinks illegal.…

If I Wanted America To Fail

April 24, 2012

Did you celebrate “Earth Day” this past weekend? Want to know the real story about how radical environmentalism is bringing about America’s certain failure? Check out this video released by Free Market America for a sobering revelation about how the tree-huggers are not only making it hard to get out of our current recession, they are laying the foundation for the destruction of the free-market economy. This should actually be Obama’s campaign video, because as are told at the end of the video: “If I wanted America to fail I…I suppose I wouldn’t change a thing.” Sounds about like what will…
