End the madness! Say NO to Paul Ryan as House Speaker!

October 13, 2015
Paul Ryan - Nope

The “Who will replace John Boehner as Speaker of the House” saga continues in Washington, even though Congress is on another recess after having just returned from another recess. Good work if you can get it. Just as they did when they tried to coronate  Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as the next RINO to wield the gavel of power, many of the establishment Republicans are spending their time away from Washington trying to convince us that Paul Ryan (R-WI) is the savior America and the Republican party needs. You remember Paul Ryan, don’t you? He’s the loser who served as the…

The mass shooting in Colorado that never was

October 7, 2015
Gun free zone 2

Three days ago President Obama delivered somber remarks in the aftermath of the mass shootings at Umpqua Community College near Roseburg Oregon. “The reporting is routine,” Obama said. “My response here at this podium ends up being routine, the conversation in the aftermath of it. We’ve become numb to this.” In some regards he’s right. CNN reported that Obama has now delivered statements regarding (domestic) gun violence 15 times in his near 7 years in office. By any standard of measure – liberal, conservative or ‘other’- that’s 15 times too many. But there’s a stunning gap in Presidential time-and-again remarks,…

Thomas Jefferson - too much government

The reason most often cited for the success of the nonpolitical candidates is the frustration with Washington; the sense that the system is broken. Even people who don’t watch the news or closely follow politics are aware of the “overreach.” It seems that, perhaps, the messages the outsiders have been heralding on the trail has caught on. Washington’s overreach has been rolled back—by courts and commissioners and, even, in response, the government itself. In little more than 30 days, there have been five distinct cases that you…

New report makes it official – McConnell worse than Reid

October 6, 2015
McConnell and Reid

A few days ago I wrote a piece calling for Mitch McConnell to follow John Boehner and resign from his leadership position due to his repeated failure to even attempt to stop Obama as he promised, his outright betrayal of the Conservative base, his willingness to pass legislation with more Democrats than Republicans, and his now well-established track record of letting Harry Reid set the agenda. Now, thanks to a new report obtained by, we have proof of these accusations against the spineless wonder from Kentucky. In the report from the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (CRS), it has been…

What is Obama’s end game for massive immigration?

October 5, 2015
illegal-immigration path to citizenship

The Obama administration is launching a campaign to accelerate the conversion of millions of immigrants to citizenship. The nation’s immigration agencies will spend big bucks on “outreach” activities and the Naturalization process will be streamlined. The goal is to add several million new citizens to the voter rolls by November 2016. If you think the Naturalization process is governed by law and long–established rules so we need not worry about shortcuts and wholesale fraud–wake up. This is the Obama Administration we are talking about. If you think immigration law enforcement was politicized, wait until you see what citizenship fraud looks…
