Pope Francis opposes free speech rights

Angels listening to Pope Francis

Well, this has been quite a week for the left side of the political aisle, as they show their dislike for old-fashioned ideas like freedom and liberty. A few days ago, it was the former National Security Advisor for Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who stated his belief that freedom of speech shouldn’t apply to anyone who uses it to insult Islam. We also learned in a New York Times editorial that Christians in positions of leadership should be denied their rights to freedom of speech and freedom of religion if they don’t embrace the radical homosexual agenda, and that their…

Middle school arms students with canned goods in case of shootings

Yes We Can protective equipment

Senseless violence has become all too common in America’s public schools, so the safety of our kids has become a top priority, and rightly so. But a middle school in Alabama might need some extra safety training after their latest idea to keep kids safe. After you hear their idea, I think you’ll agree. Their plan? A can off corn… or peas… or some other vegetable they may not like. Not to eat, but to use as a weapon by throwing it at an intruder. I can see it now, can’t you? Freedom of speech - Voltaire

In just the latest example of how far liberals are willing to go to make the world a “safer” place, we receive word that a former cabinet member of the Jimmy Carter administration wants to eliminate certain forms of free speech. GOP spineless

Twenty-five brave patriots stood up to the Washington Republican machine to say NO to business as usual. Unfortunately, they were vastly outnumbered by the cowards masquerading as Conservatives. In my home district in Colorado, Rep. Ken Buck—who was elected Republican Freshman Class President back in November—was all too eager to add his name to the spineless brigade. In an interview on the Amy Oliver show on 1310KFKA, Buck was all too eager to explain his vote for Boehner to guest host Nancy Rumfeld.…

Gas prices are down, so hold on to your wallets!

January 7, 2015
Taxes Ahead

Almost right on queue, the liberals are coming out of the woodwork—the “pest” reference is deliberate—to announce that it’s time for you and I to step up to the plate and hand over more of our money. Joining a growing movement, an opinion piece by the Denver Post Editorial Board details how the recent bout of dropping fuel prices presents the perfect opportunity to raise gas tax rates in order to help the country’s neglected highway systems. They give the following reasons: Most forecasters, including the federal government, say that lower gas prices are likely to continue. And as we all know, when the government…
