Net Neutrality: Another step closer to tyranny

February 26, 2015
Thomas Jefferson tyranny warning

Obama’s tried it before and failed, but when you’re a dictator on a mission to fundamentally transform America, you don’t let something so petty as a court decision stop you from trying again. Of course, we’re talking about Net Neutrality and the government takeover of the internet. This time, just as last time, Obama and his cronies will claim that the purpose of their regulation is to prevent the Internet from affording priority and faster service to certain preferred user, something the free market already does. According to constitutional expert and FOX News senior judicial analyst, Judge Andrew Napolitano, these…

The “T” in TARP doesn’t stand for truth

February 5, 2015
Auto bailout Obama Taxpayer

In his 2014 end of the year press conference, Obama made the following claim: “Effectively today, our rescue of the auto industry is officially over. We’ve now repaid taxpayers every dime and more of what my administration committed.”  (emphasis mine) My administration? Those words are intentional, folks! Because Obama is completely ignoring the $17.4 billion President Bush committed to General Motors and Chrysler in December 2008. In other words, Obama is doing what he’s done through most of his presidency. Take credit for successes, and blame any failures on Bush. If you take the entire Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP)…

Angels listening to Pope Francis

Well, this has been quite a week for the left side of the political aisle, as they show their dislike for old-fashioned ideas like freedom and liberty. A few days ago, it was the former National Security Advisor for Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who stated his belief that freedom of speech shouldn’t apply to anyone who uses it to insult Islam. We also learned in a New York Times editorial that Christians in positions of leadership should be denied their rights to freedom of speech and freedom of religion if they don’t embrace the radical homosexual agenda, and that their…

Yes We Can protective equipment

Senseless violence has become all too common in America’s public schools, so the safety of our kids has become a top priority, and rightly so. But a middle school in Alabama might need some extra safety training after their latest idea to keep kids safe. After you hear their idea, I think you’ll agree. Their plan? A can off corn… or peas… or some other vegetable they may not like. Not to eat, but to use as a weapon by throwing it at an intruder. I can see it now, can’t you? Signs posted on school property with the following:…

Want to end terrorism? Burn the Constitution!

January 12, 2015
Freedom of speech - Voltaire

In just the latest example of how far liberals are willing to go to make the world a “safer” place, we receive word that a former cabinet member of the Jimmy Carter administration wants to eliminate certain forms of free speech. In an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program, former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski feels that the United States should reconsider whether satire should be protected free speech in light of the terrorist attack on the French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo. “We have to take a look more closely at the nature of the so-called satire,” said Brzezinski. “I’ve not seen…
