We’ve Come A Long Way In The Climate Change War

“We are winning the war!” was a phrase I heard repeatedly this week. Congressman Sensenbrenner, Vice Chair of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, said: “We won on these issues because we were right.” What “war” brought together more than 60 scientists from around the world—including astronauts,  meteorologists, and physicians; politicians—comprising the Congressman, a head of state, and a member of the European Parliament; and policy analysts and media for two-and-a-half days in Chicago? The battle over climate change and the belief that there needs to be real science—more “about honest debate than ideological warfare.” Assembled by the…

Climate Change And The Presidential Campaign

Global warming has been off the energy news radar as high gas prices have usurped the spotlight, however Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has brought it back. “Defense Secretary?” you might ask. “Not Energy Secretary Steven Chu or EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson?” No. It was Leon Panetta, who, at an Environmental Defense Fund reception on Thursday May 3, declared “The area of climate change has a dramatic impact on national security.” (Are we going to declare war on countries like Canada for backing out of the Kyoto climate change commitments, or China and India for never supporting them in the first place?)…

Bush after all, who signed the anti-free enterprise, liberty-killing “Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007″ into law. As we now approach the elimination of the incandescent light bulb, we are faced with one of the realities of progressive actions when it comes to their…

Don’t Believe In Global Warming? That’s “Treason!”

You’ve got to love the open-minded thinking of the liberal left, particularly when someone holds an opinion that contradicts anything they consider to be a fact. Our latest example of this type of behavior comes from the official newspaper of the radical left-wing extremists, The New York Times. In an Op-Ed from by Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman, we discover that anyone who doesn’t fall for the hysterical hype known as “climate change” (they stopped using the words “global warming” once the planet started cooling about a decade ago) are nothing more than a group of “deniers” who are guilty of “treason” against the planet. Treason? Are you freakin’…
