I Agree With John Kerry

In a refreshing change of heart, it appears that John Kerry added another flip-flop to his long list of double-minded positions on an issue, but this time he was right in doing so and I agree with his new position. In an interview on MSNBC ‘s “Morning Joe” program, Sir Flips-Alot expressed his displeasure with the political movement his fellow progressives have come to call “Tea Party Terrorists” by suggesting that the media put aside any concerns about “fairness” and simply censor the views of those who identify with the Tea Party. Pelosi told San Francisco’s KCBS radio that “there is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some.” “I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to…

Group Sues To Abolish “In God We Trust” From Capitol Visitor’s Center

The largest group of atheists and agnostics in the nation have filed a lawsuit to keep the words “In God We Trust” and the Pledge of Allegiance from being engraved at the Capital Visitor Center in Washington D.C. because it would be an unconstitutional endorsement of religion. The legislation requiring the engraving was passed by Congress. The Madison-based Freedom From Religion Foundation filed the suit in U.S. District Court in western Wisconsin. In their suit, the group claims that engraving these words at the entrance to the U.S. Capitol would discriminate against those who do not practice religion and unfairly promote a Judeo-Christian…
