Boehner leads the way in cave on executive amnesty

Obama sue me Boehner

Do you remember when Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame members Mitch McConnell and John Boehner capitulated in the budget battle just after the November election? Sure you do. That’s when he led the way in passing the CROmnibus with a promise to exercise the “power of the purse” to shut down Homeland Security if Obama refused change his plans for illegals. Well, Obama hasn’t changed his plans, but apparently the GOP has. The latest comes from a report where Boehner told his conference at a closed-door meeting—remember the days when he promised more transparency?—that he has a team exploring options to…

GOP cowards hide behind terrorists and cave on amnesty

Republican Coward seal

Following the Republican “can’t we all just get along?” retreat, Senate Majority Leader and Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Mitch McConnell informed House Republicans that they should lower their expectations concerning the bill passed in the House of Representatives that funds the Department of Homeland Security, but defunds Obama’s illegal amnesty order. Why? Because he doesn’t have 60 votes in the Senate. His reason may sound valid, but it not true. It takes 60 votes to end a filibuster for non-budget business, but it only takes a simple majority to pass a budget. So, why would McConnell say something that simply…

Republican cowards vote to keep John Boehner as Speaker

GOP spineless

Well, as many predicted, Rep. John Boehner (R-INO OH) was re-elected as Speaker of the House, but it wasn’t without a fight. Twenty-five brave patriots stood up to the Washington Republican machine to say NO to business as usual. Unfortunately, they were vastly outnumbered by the cowards masquerading as Conservatives. In my home district in Colorado, Rep. Ken Buck—who was elected Republican Freshman Class President back in November—was all too eager to add his name to the spineless brigade. In an interview on the Amy Oliver show on 1310KFKA, Buck was all too eager to explain his vote for Boehner to guest host Nancy Rumfeld.…

New Year's Resolution

Happy 2015 America! New Year’s day is often a time of reflection for the year just gone while also being a time to set goals for the new year just begun. Looking back on 2014, Conservatives had a decent year. Most notably, the part we played in the historic landslide election that resulted in the removal of Harry “The Henchman” Reid from his lofty position as the Senate Majority Leader when we helped the Republican party retake control of the Senate. We also helped increase the number of Republicans in the House of Representatives. Clearly, we played a significant role in electing a Congress that…

One more reason to abolish the IRS

TEA Party vs IRS

In his final act as Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee—he’s stepping down because of term limits—Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) released a report on Tuesday saying that IRS officials were swayed by Democrats calling for stronger regulations on nonprofit groups that had become more involved in politics. TEA Party Patriots, one of the organizations targeted in the IRS scandal, had this to say about it: “There is no question that the IRS as an agency, and its leaders individually, directed and implemented a scheme to silence and demoralize TEA Party groups,” said Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of the Atlanta-based group.…
