“Electile Dysfunction” in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District

April 16, 2014

Electile Dysfunction (ED) or political impotence is characterized by a politician’s inability or unwillingness to do the job he was elected to do, and is usually the result of being in Washington D.C. far too long. While this condition is reaching epidemic proportions in both political parties, there are certain congressional districts who need who need the cure that can only come from electing Constitution-loving Conservatives. In Ohio’s 8th Congressional District—currently “represented” by the inaugural member of the G.O.P. Hall of Shame, John Boehner —the cure for ED might just be found in the person of J. D. Conservative Comedy 4/11/14

April 11, 2014

It’s time for some Conservative Comedy at the Strident Conservative. As I do every Friday, I bring you some of the best Conservative political satire on the internet, sure to provide a good laugh to begin your weekend. Attorney General Eric Holder, speaking before the House of Representatives, proposed the implementation of “common sense” gun reforms like the Rube Goldberg nightmare in today’s cartoon. Obamacare enrollment great

This is the kind of response we’ve come to expect from a feel-good, we know what’s good for you better than you know what’s good for you, liberal after one of their liberty-stealing, budget-busting laws fail to work out according to plan. Check out this tidbit from Nancy “pass it to see what’s in it” Pelosi during a press conference following the announcement by Obama that 7.1 million Americans—a number he pulled out of his derriere—had enrolled in Obamacare. “Madam Leader, isn’t the real measure of success, not the raw number who signed up, but how many of those…

Democrats’ goal of energy independence misses the mark

April 7, 2014
Marita Noon 2013 grey

Recently the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) sent out a “2014 Priority Issues Survey.” In addition to the obligatory Tea Party bashing: “help the Democrats protect the progress we have made from Tea Party radicals, deliver the positive changes America needs and help Democrats win a Majority in the U.S. House of Representatives!” and the fundraising requests to “help protect House Democrats against Republican attacks”—there is a section on energy. Section VII, asks: “Which of the following will help America achieve energy independence?” It offers five options that do little to move America toward energy independence—which isn’t even a realistic…
