Greg Abbott defends women and children after NFL threat over TX bathroom bill

Less than a year ago, the National Basketball Association threatened to move the annual All Star game from the home of the Charlotte Hornets if the state of North Carolina refused to make it legal for grown men to use the little girls room. According to the NBA commissioner, legally protecting the right of sexually confused men to abuse women and children was a matter of protecting the values of freedom and equal rights.

North Carolina held firm and the game was moved to Louisiana, where the Democrat governor of the state that celebrates LGBT perversion every Labor Day weekend–an event known as Southern Decadence–had issued an executive order extending special rights for so-called transgendered individuals. Ironically, the governor defended his executive order legalizing sexual confusion by stating that it was a reflection of Louisiana values.

This kind of corporate bullying is spreading, as we recently witnessed by actions taken by Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the National Floundering League. Oops, I mean the National Football League. Using the NBA extortion gambit as a model, and after a successful effort against Republican Governor Nathan Deal, Commissioner Goodell issued a threat against Texas, warning that if a “bathroom bill” requiring individuals to use public bathrooms based on their biological sex becomes law, the NFL would refuse to host future Super Bowls in the state.

Even though the bill in question doesn’t even apply to NFL venues.

“A school district or open-enrollment charter school shall adopt a policy requiring each multiple-occupancy bathroom or changing facility accessible to students that is located in a school or school facility to be designated for and used only by persons based on the person’s biological sex.”

Since the law only affects schools, why would the NFL make such a threat? Because the Gay Mafia isn’t interested in equal rights. These LGBT radicals are completely focused in advancing their agenda of normalizing the abnormal. They are targeting children to indoctrinate them with the lie that being sexually deviant or sexually confused is normal, and that it should be embraced and promoted. In a statement defending their actions, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said:

“If a proposal that is discriminatory or inconsistent with our values were to become law (in Texas), that would certainly be a factor considered when thinking about awarding future events.”

NFL values? Are you kidding me? What values are we witnessing when the NFL honors the right of a player to protest the National Anthem and the US flag in the name of their free speech rights, but suspended and fined a Christian player who opposed the LGBT agenda and spoke out about it? What values are we witnessing when you make Robert Griffin III turn his tee-shirt inside out before a press conference because it contained a Christian message?

Values? Whenever I hear the Gay Mafia use that word to defend the LGBT agenda, I’m reminded of the word spoken by Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride:

There is some good news out of Texas. In response to Goodell’s pathetic attempt at extortion, Gov. Greg Abbott let the NFL commissioner know that his threats wouldn’t work as he issued an excellent response on his Twitter account.

Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin pulled no punches after the NFL’s disgraceful, left-wing assault on traditional values and biological reality. Check it out:
